Dear Ms. Conn:
The owner is requesting a Development Standards Variance for the Maximum 18-ft accessory building
height requirement outlined in UDO Section 2.04. The request is to construct a 2,200 – 2,800 square
foot one story accessory dwelling which will exceed the permitted accessory height of 18 feet. The
proposed accessory dwelling will be between 30’ to 35’ in height. The accessory building will
compliment the existing residence currently on the property.
