However, if you think you cannot file a complete application by then (with site plan, exterior architectural elevations, etc.), then, yes, the next filing deadline would be May 19 (for the July 28 BZA meeting). A Guest House is an allowed Accessory Use on parcels of land sized not less than 1 acre. UDO section 2.04 lists the maximum height allowed for an accessory building in the S1 zoning district (18 feet). (And, the definition of Building Height is The vertical distance from the lot ground level to the highest point of the roof for a flat roof, to the deck line of a mansard roof and to the mean height between eaves and ridges for gable, hip and gambrel roofs. So, it could potentially be taller than 18-ft when measured up to the roof peak.) Also, additional Residential Accessory Building and Use Standards can be found in UDO section 5.02. After reading through those standards, please let me know if you have any other questions!
