A new round-a-bout has been constructed at the intersection of Old Meridian Street, Guilford Road, and St. Vincent Carmel's main entry drive. As a result of the construction of this round-a-bout, St. Vincent Carmel Hospital wishes to add a new sign to aid in way finding for patients and visitors to the Hospital. The new sign will clearly define the location of the Hospital, especially for vehicles approaching from Guilford Road and southbound Old Meridian Street. Since the new sign will assist patients and visitors in locating the Hospital, including distressed Emergency Room patients, I request that the Board of Zoning Appeals approve this Development Standards Variance. The approval of this variance will not be injurious to the public health, safety, morals and general wE;llfare of the community because: THE SIGN WILL BE BENEFICIAL TO THE PUBLIC HEALTH, SAFETY AND WELFARE BY AIDING IN WAYFINDING TO THE HOSPITAL FOR PATIENTS AND VISITORS. 2.
