The planned usage is for a covered pergola, patio space, and landscaping to be constructed in the backyard by
Country Gardens Landscaping.

Statement of Variance Request
We are seeking approval for a variance from UDO Section 2.04 which specifies a maximum lot coverage of 35%.
This will accomodate a planned project to be completed by Country Gardens Landscaping which will add a covered
pergola to the backyard with a grill and space for seating, patio space and steps connecting the driveway and house
to the structure, and landscaping.
Statement of Support
The addition of the pergola to the backyard will provide a stable and safe place for a grill, as well as covered seating
area to enjoy the outdoors while being protected from sun and rain. If we do not receive approval of a variance, we
would not be able to build anything in our backyard to be able to enjoy the space. The planned construction and
landscaping will fit with the nieghborhood with the majority of houses already having a covered structure. We have
received HOA approval.
