ORIGINATING BENCHMARK:
BENCHMARK ELEVATIONS FOR THIS PROJECT WERE DERIVED USING THE
NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY ONLINE POSITIONING USER SERVICE
(O.P.U.S) AND ARE REFERENCED TO THE NAVD '88 DATUM.
SITE TBMs:
TBM #1: A CUT SQUARE ON TOP OF THE CONCRETE CURB ON THE SOUTH
SIDE OF 116th STREET, IMMEDIATELY EAST OF THE ENTRANCE TO THE
GRAVEL DRIVE ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE SITE.
EL: 832.38 (NAVD 88)
TBM #2: A CUT "X" ON TOP OF THE CONCRETE TOP OF THE BRICK
HEADWALL OVER CARMEL CREEK, AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF THE
WALL.
EL: 830.09 (NAVD 88)
NOTES
1.THIS SURVEY REFLECTS ABOVE GROUND INDICATIONS OF UTILITIES
AND INFORMATION AVAILABLE FROM UTILITY COMPANIES. THE
SURVEYOR MAKES NO GUARANTEE THAT THE UNDERGROUND
UTILITIES SHOWN COMPRISE ALL SUCH UTILITIES IN THE AREA,
EITHER IN SERVICE OR ABANDONED. THE SURVEYOR FURTHER DOES
NOT WARRANT THAT THE UNDERGROUND UTILITIES SHOWN ARE IN

3.FOR INSTALLATION OF STORM MAINS, WATER MAINS, SANITARY
MAINS, WATER SERVICE LATERALS, SANITARY SERVICE LATERALS
UNDER CITY STREETS, REGARDLESS OF THE JURISDICTION OF THE
UTILITY, THE MINIMUM COVER FROM THE TOP OF THE INSTALLED
PAVEMENT TO THE TOP OF THE INSTALLED PIPE SHALL BE THE
PAVEMENT SECTION THICKNESS (ALL BITUMINOUS AND AGGREGATE
MATERIAL ABOVE THE SUBGRADE) PLUS 1-0", BUT UNDER NO
CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL THE COVER ALONG ANY PART OF THE PIPE
FROM THE FINAL PAVEMENT ELEVATION TO THE TOP OF THE PIPE BE
LESS THAN 2.5 FEET.
4.THERE SHALL BE NO MANHOLES OR WATER VALVES WITHIN THE
STREET PAVEMENTS, CURBS, SIDEWALKS, OR ASPHALT PATHS.
5.NO EARTH DISTURBING ACTIVITY MAY TAKE PLACE WITHOUT AN
APPROVED STORM WATER MANAGEMENT PERMIT.
6.DAMAGE TO THE EXISTING RIGHT-OF-WAY SHALL BE
RESTORED/REPAIRED TO THE SATISFACTION OF THE CITY AT THE
COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT. THE CONTRACTOR IS ENCOURAGED
TO INSPECT THE RIGHT-OF-WAY WITH THE CITY PRIOR TO THE START
OF CONSTRUCTION TO DOCUMENT THE EXISTING CONDITION OF THE
RIGHT-OF-WAY.
7.ALL PAVING WITHIN THE EXISTING AND PROPOSED RIGHT-OF-WAY
SHALL CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF
ENGINEERING.
