When would be good for you? I am free except for 2:00. As Joe stated below, you can include more lots in your variance request if you can update your public notice in time. I would propose a maximum of 5 lots to have the side porch, which is about 15% of the subdivision. Regarding the variance and public notice, a variance always requires public notice and a public hearing. However, it appears this variance will only be heard by the Hearing Officer (which is one BZA member) and not the full 5-member board. Since the deadline to submit to the local paper – The Current in Carmel – has not passed yet, you still can accomplish this. The deadline to submit your required published notices, is this Friday, July 4. Please let us know if there are any other possible lots other than Lots 1 and 7 that you would need this front porch variance request from. I will then update your Docket Assignment to reflect the number of lots you seek for this variance proposal. 2
