FYI:
I wanted to update you on the Red Robyn Realty sign located at 430 N. Rangeline Rd. Robyn Brown first came in
for approval in June of last year. Apparently there was confusion over what type of sign she could have. She went
with what the Sign Ordinance permits. This consisted of two signs, one for each tenant, suspended from a post
and arm configuration. It looks beautiful, and is exactly the type of sign we wish to see in that corridor.
However, she has returned within the last week to get something a little larger, and perhaps more visible to car
traffic. We are allowing her to have a 12 sq. ft. sign, only it will be one panel for both tenants. We are waiving the
ADLS application fees due to the previous misunderstanding. She states she would have preferred to have one
panel from the beginning and would have asked for approval of that if she knew she could have it.
We have asked her to pay the fees for a new sign permit. She has paid as of yesterday, February 5, 2008.
I will add this update to the file.
