Subject: Complaint: Noxious weeds and grass
The house at 13546 Flintridge Pass (Haverstick Subdivision) has weeds and grass growing around the
house that are almost 2 feet high. They finally mowed their yard a couple weeks ago, but they never
cut the grass around their house. I'm concerned about insects and other animals creating their homes
in the "jungle" around their house. Since I am a Carmel Police officer and live next door to them, I
have gotten several complaints from other neighbors. Since I'm trying to stay neighborly, I don't want
to cite them myself. If you could, please just refer to multiple complaints from neighbors as the reason.

RE: CARMEL CITY CODE WEEDSIGRASS VIOLATION
Dear Sir or Madam:
This letter is being provided to inform you that the property at 13546 Flintridge Pass., a
property list under your ownership, is in violation of Carmel City Code § 6-88 (Ordinance
No. D-1557-02) and Indiana Code §36-1-3-6 (b)(1).
(c) Requirement to cut. All owners of real property ("property') located
within the City shall cut and remove weeds and other rank vegetation
growing thereon that exceeds an average height of six inches, and shall
keep their property clear of debris.
Please be advised, this violation need to be corrected by June 16, 2008, or, this matter
will be brought into compliance by the City of Carmel. You, as property owner(s) will be
liable and billed for the cost of correcting the violation(s) and all administrative costs. If
