Dear Ms. Karen Maier- .oOf'], ~

Greetings. I would like to inform you of my intentions. They are as follbV![S0

\"':-_1
I have had a small business, just a couple part time employees (3), for over 25 years now,
Weare in desperate need of just a little bit larger facility to hang our hats. I am Looking at
the house on 505 East 1 1 6th.
You see my business, Printing PLus, does not have any waLk in customers. So there will
be zero traffic of this kind added to your neighborhood. Even though our name is Printing
Plus, we do not do any printing other than what is generated off our desk top equipment.
There will be no large equipment, zero noise and less traffic than if a family that had a
couple of teenagers lived there.
e I promise you the house will continue to look 100% Like residential.
o We are not asking for any signs, lights or make any alterations on the building at
all. We just need a place to put our computers.
The reason I would like to work out of a house is simple, I simply can not afford to buy
any1hing up north for an office in a commercial zone. And renting is very expensive and
much more than a mortgage on the property 1 am looking at.
What I am asking you is for support. "Why should we support this?" you ask. Well
because it is truly in your best interest as property owners in this area. Let me explain:
As you know, I 16th street has become more and more busy, making living on this street
louder and louder with each passing year. The people I am buying this property from, Mr.
and Mrs. Laswell have had their house on the market to sell for almost a year. Over 40
people have looked at it and no one wants to live there blc of 116th and the noise. This
situation Vvill only get worse, They are thinking about making a rental property out of this
house.
Have you seen the houses just north of 96th and Rangeline? No one wants to live in these
either because of the noise and some sit empty but most are now occupied by multiple
families in one house. The houses deteriorate every year, making them less and less
marketable and making the value of surrounding houses go down as well.
Do you want this to happen to your house?
Tfyou support my coming into your neighborhood you will be assured I will keep the
place well maintained, the house will continue to be in good shape, the neighborhood will
continue to look 100% residential and all of this will keep your property values from
going down. The Laswells have a very nice house. If they can not sell theirs think how
hard it will be for you to eventually sell yours if the neighborhood goes to rental property
or even worse, like some of the empty houses already in the area.
Please do not hesitate to call me, I would actually appreciate it, at 257.3232 so I can
personally come by and discuss my plans with you. I am willing to comply with any and
all conditions, I simply just want a place where my commute is not as long and a place
where I can afford to work until I retire.
The meeting is June 23rd at 6:00 p.m., any and all support I receive from you will only
help you down the road.
Thank you in advance.
Best Regards
