Plan Commission Public Notice Sil!nProccdurc:
The petitioner shall incur the cost of the purchasing, placing, and removing the sign. The sign must be
placed in a highly visible and legible location from the road on the property that is involved with the
publ ic hearing.
The public notice sign shall meet the following requirements:

Must be placed on the subject property no less than 25 days prior to the public hearing
The sign must Jollow the sign design

Sign must be 24" x 36" - vertical
Sign must be double sided
Sign must be composed of weather
resistant material, such as corrugated
plastic or laminated poster board
The sign must be mounted in a heavy-duty
metal frame
The sign must contain the following:

Mark has sent to your attention a letter requesting a rezone of the 40 acres to which the Park Board became the fee
simple title holder in January of this year (enlarges West Park: 3030 W. 116th Street), the letter referenced an attached
legal description which was not attached to my copy. In the event it was not attached to yours, it is attached to this email.
The large parcel consists of 3 contiguous parcels: 17-09-32-00-00-01 0.000;(9.85ac.) 17-09-32-00-00-011.000; (13.1 ac.)
17-09~32-00-00-012.000 (9 ac.) and 17-09-32-00-00-009.000 (2.78 ac.). The large tract is contiguous to the 5.0 Acres:

Dear Angie:
Please accept this letter to confinn that the Cannel/Clay Board of Parks and Recreation
has completed the purchase on thc above referenced propelty. Consistent with the tel111S of the
lease purchase agreement with Mrs. Perelman, the Park Board is ready to proceed with its rezone
from S-l to P-I. The legal description is enclosed.
It was most gcncrous of you to suggest to Debra Gd sham, attorney for the Park Board,
that DOCS staff would be happy to take this matter through thc correct process on behalf of the
Board. If I or any of the Park Depm1ment staff can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to
contact me at 289-4282.
Please notify me of the meetings at which it will be presented so that I or another member
of Park Management can plan to attend. I welcome any questions you may have regarding this
matter and please do not hesitate to conect my understanding of the process as outlined in this
letter if inaccurate or incomplete.
