Mail & Facsimile (317-848-0843) Dear Mr. Payne, At the special meeting held Thursday, March 27,2003, the Ca.rrnel/Clay Advisory Board of Zoning Appeals took the following action regarding the Special Use and Development Standards Variances filed by you on behalf of Carmel/Clay Schools for property located at 520 East Main Street (Carmel High School Freshman Center): APPROVED with Conditions: Docket No. SUA-194-02, a Special Use Application in order to establish a H~gh School Freslunan Center. The Board voted fom (4) in favor, zero (0) opposed, thereby approving the petition with the following Conditions of Approval: 1. That the petitioner shall vacate the lots and rights-of-way within the Cannelwood Subdivision plat that are proposed to become part of the project site; 2. That the petitioner shall combine all Tax Parcels that are part of the project site into a single Tax Parcel under a single, continuous boundary description; 3. The Board voted three (3) in favor, one (1) opposed, thereby approving the petition. APPROVED: Docket No. V-206-02, a Development Standards Variance petition of Section 8.04.01 in order to establish a57-foot building height. The Board voted four (4) in favor, zero (0) opposed, thereby approving the petition. Please be advised that per Section 21,02.07: Time Limit of the Zoning Ordinance, the aforementioned Special Use approval is valid for one (1) year. By that time, either continuous construction of improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approval must have been received and approval granted by this Department. The expiration date oftms approval is Monday, March 29,2004. Please be advised that per Section 30.05.05: Time Limit of the Zoning Ordinance, the aforementioned Development Standards Variance approvals are valid for one (1) year. By that time, either continuous construction of improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approval must have been received and approval granted by this Department. The expiration date ofthese approvals is Monday, March 29, 2004. Please be advised that per Section 25.07.07: Sign Permits of the Zoning Ordinance, the signs approved pursuant to the aforementioned Development Standards Variances must be established within one (1) year. The expiration date of the approvals is Monday, March 29, 2004. *Wben applying for Improvement Location Permits for this structure, please include a copy of this letter with your application materials in order to assist the Division of Building & Code Enforcement's review. The signs approved per Docket Nos. V -200-02 through V -205-02 will require Sign Permits. *When applying for Sign Permits for this structure, please include a copy of this letter with your application materials in order to assist the Division of Planning & Zoning's review.
