Docket No. 08050026 ADLS Amend: West Carmel Dr. Retail (Meijer Outlot A) The applicant seeks approval for the revised building fac;ade design. The site is located at the nonheast corner of Carmel Dr. & Pennsylvania St. and is zoned OM/M - Old Meridian District/Meijer Zone. Filed by Ken Cave Thomas of Thomas English Retail Real Estate, LLC. The petitioner seeks approval for a revised building fa.;;ade design. Basically, the prior approved design of a cantilever roof and canopies created a constructability problem and functional use issues for the retail tenants. The use of EIFS above 8 feet is permitted, per section 230.04.0 I.D.3. Zorung Waiver approval (docket no. 08060002 Z'W) is also in front of the Plan Commission, in order to have some parts of the building height less than 25-ft tall in order to provide variety in roof height. The Dept. of Community Services recommends the committee vote to approve this item, after all comments and concerns are addressed.
