4. Docket No. 11-03 Z; Danbury Common Area and other parcels (P-l Rezone)
Petitioner seeks a favorable recommendation of a rezone from R-1/Residential to P-
lIParks and Recreation on 13.69:1:: acres. The site is located generally south of 146tl1
Streetbet\veen Dublin Drive and Jason Street. The site is zoned R-lIResidence.
Filed by the Department of Community Services.
The City is requesting a favorable recommendation from the Plan Commission on their petition
to rezone 13.69 acres generally south of 146tl1 Street between Dublin Drive and Jason Street from
R-l/Residential to P-I/Parks and Recreation.
This site was one of the sites initially identified for rezoning to theP-l designation at the time the
zone was created in November of 2001. Several properties have been successfully taken through
this process and other locations throughout th~ community will be presented as time allows at
future meetings. These include other "common areas", school, and church sites.
The Department recommends that the Subdivision Committee forward this request to the
full Commission after all comments and concerns have been addressed.
