Larger or specially constructed pools may require additional inspections. For most inspections; a minimum 24-hour notice is required. First Inspection: Bonding and Grounding. Pool builders may use the "Footing Line" (571-2449) between 8:00 and 9:00 to schedule bonding inspection for SAME DAY INSPECTION. For scheduling inspections further out in time, call the Permit Services office at 571-2444. FOR THIS INSPECTION: The hole needs to be excavated, and plumbing and electrical installed; Corners of the pool deck must be marked, preferably staked. A maior aspect of the bonding inspection is the common bonding grid, as called for in the National Electrical Code; Section 680-22. Second Inspection: Final inspection. This inspection is scheduled with the Permit Services office (571-2444) once the project is complete and all grading and seeding is done.
