STATEMENT OF SUPPORT
To the Carmel/Clay Advisory Board of Zoning Appeals
r live in Danbury Estates, lot 8. My address is 14537 Dublin Drive. I would like to build
an addition to my home. It will be located where my present deck is now and will not be
any closer to the neighbors than my current deck. The addition will add value to my
home and be a positive addition to the neighborhood.
Please see the copy of the covenants of my neighborhood, Danbury Estates. In the
covenants it states that the side setback shall be a minimum of five feet. My addition will
have a 5 feet 2 inch setback.
I like the Location of my present home and do not want to move to gain additional space.
This proposed addition wiIl allow me to enjoy my home even more than I do now and
will not be a detriment to anyone in the neighborhood.
I have enclosed sil:,'Iled statements from some of my neighbors, including the neighbor
next door who is closest to the addition, stating that they have no objections to this
addition.
Please look at the information I have provided and decide to aIIow me to build the

Notice is hereby given that the CarmellClay Board of Zoning Appeals
meeting on the 22nd day of September, 2008 at 6:00 pm in the City Hall Council
Chambers, 1 Civic Square, Carmel, Indiana 46032 will hold a Public Hearing upon
a Development Standards Variance application for a variance of the set back
reduction. The variance is needed to replace a deck with a suuroom. The room will
be located where the deck is currently located and a new deck will be placed to the
North of tbe room addition. Tbe addition will be added to the property being
known as 14537 Dublin Drive.
The application is identified as Docket No. 08080022 V.
The real estate affected by said application is described as follows: Lot number 8 in
