RE: CARIVIEL CITY CODE: WEEDS & GRASS/JUNK VEHICLE VIOLATION
Dear Sir or Madam:
This letter is being provided to inform you that the property at 201 +Cagtnel View Dr., a
property list under your ownership, is in violation of Cannel (Indiana.) City Code § 6-88
(Ordinance No. D-1557-02) and Indiana Code §364-3-6 (b)(1).
(c) Requirement to cut. All owners of real property ("property") located within
the City shall cut and remove weeds .and other rank vegetation growing
thereon that exceeds an average height of six inches, and shall keep their
property clear of debris,.
Also in violation is Carmel City Code § 6-106 (b) and § 6414, which states:
6-106 (b): A Junk Car shall mean any motor vehicle which does not bear a
currently valid license plate, and is not kept in a garage or building.
6-114: Because of the danger to the health from vermin, the danger of personal
injuryto children attracted bysuch vehicles, danger of fire bythe storage of
gasoline and oil thereon, any abandoned, unlicensed, inoperable,
disassembled, wrecked or junked motor vehicle on any street or public
property for more than five days or upon any private property for more than
15 days; except as hereinafter provided, is declared to be a nuisance and
unlawful.
To avoid further enforcement action, which can include having the vehicle(s) removed
from the property, please either plate, garage, or remove all junk vehicles and have the
grass/weeds mowed by August 7, 2008. ;Failure to correct these violations will result
in these matters being, brought into compliance by the City of Carmel. You, as
property owner(s) will be liable and billed for the cast of correcting the violation(s)
and all administrative costs. If you have any questions, please contact me at (317) 571-
