Toomey 740 First Ave. N E Carmel, Indiana 46032 RE: CARMEL CITY CODE: WEEDS/GRASS/DEBRIS/JUNK VEHICLE VIOLATION CAN Dear Sir or Madam: This letter is being provided to inform you that the property at 740 First Ave. N E, a property list under your ownership, is in violation of Carmel City Code § 6-88 (Ordinance No. D-1557-02) and Indiana Code §36-1-3-6 (b)(1), and Carmel City Code, §6-77(k), which construes the following conditions to be public health nuisances: (c) Requirement for cast. All owners of real property ("property') located within the City shall cut and remove weeds and other rank vegetation growing thereon that exceeds an average height of six inches, and shall keep their property clear of debris. (k) Any accumulation of junk, rubbish, scrap metal, automotive parts, building materials, machinery, dead trees, or parts thereof, upon any prermises in a residential area. And, Carmel City Code 5 6-106(b) and S 6-114, which states; 6-106 (b): A junk Carr shall mean any motor vehicle which does not bear a currently valid license plate, and is not kept in a garage or building. 6-114: Because of the danger to the health from vermin, the danger of personal injury to children attracted by such vehicles, danger of fire by the storage of gasoline and oil thereon, any abandoned, unlicensed, inoperable, disassembled, wrecked or junked motor vehicle on any street or public property for more than five days or upon any private property for more than 15 days, except as hereinafter provided, is declared to be a nuisance and unlawful. Please be advised, if the above referenced violations are not corrected by August 7, 2008 this matter will be brought into compliance by the City of Carmel.
