STATEMENT OF VARiANCE
RE: Number of signs facing ROW
The applicant proposes additional signage facing Harleston Street for the
National Bank of Indianapolis, located at 2410 Harleston Street, Carmel, IN.
The applicant seeks to place signage reading 'Village of WestClay' on a 15' long
screen wall to the west ofthe building, similar to the approved srgnage on the 15'
long screen wall to the east of the building.
STATEMENT OF SUPPORT
The proposed monument sign will be beneficial to the community in terms of
public wayfinding and confirmation of the community identity. The sign will
identify the bank, as well as the adjacent properties, as part of the Village of
WestClay; the intent of this variance is to provide a community amenity of the
public identification of the Village of WestClay which is separate from the bank
slgnage.
