RE:' ZONING ORDINANCE VIOLATION —VISION CLEARANCE AREA
Dear Ms. Conway:
This letter is being provided to inform you that an inquiry was made to the Department of Community
Services regarding a possible Zoning Ordinance Violation NW corner of Sleepy Hollow Lane and
Wilson Drive, in: the City of Carmel,, a property listed under your ownership. An inspection revealed that
the concern appears to be valid. The Carm,el/Ciay Zoning Ordinance §25.02.07 construes the following
conditions to be public safety hazard:
§25.02.107 No sign, fence, wall, shrub or other obstruction to vision shall exist in the area
designated as the vision clearance area of corner lots.
Specifically, the concern is that a shrub on your property makes visibility difficult when looking North on
Wilson Drive from Sleepy Hollow Lane. We respectfully request that you trim the shrub back to aid in
increasing visibility at this intersection in compliance with the Carmel/Clay Zoning Ordinance by July 25,
