The signs are located at 725 S. Range Line Rd., in the City of Carmel. All signs located in Clay Township are required to have sign permits according to Section 25.07.07 of the Carmel/Clay Zoning Ordinance which states the following: Except as otherwise provided in this Ordinance, it shall be unlawful for any person to establish any sign within the jurisdictional area of this Ordinance, or cause the same to be done without first obtaining a sign permit for each sign from the Administrator as required by this Ordinance. The new signs that have been installed have no permit. To obtain the sign permits, please contact Rachel Boone at (317) 571-2417. Until a legal sign permits can be obtained, these signs need to be removed. In the event a legal sign permits cannot be obtained, it is not permissible for you to display these signs and further enforcement action will be taken.
