1.0 INTRODUCTION
This report outlines the proposed stormwater management system designed to serve
the proposed st. Vincent Heart Center Helipad parcel in Carmel, II~.
1, ] Project Descriptions
This project consists of the construction of a new moveable helipad, sidewalk, and a
new driveway to the helipad. Currently the site is composed of on existing parking lot.
landscaping, and grass area,
1.2 Drainage Analysis
This area has been previously designed and approved by the Hamilton County
Surveyor's Office and the City of Carmel. Due to being previously approved and
designed and since the overall storm water discharge has been reduced in the
developed state, no detention has been provided. (Refer to Appendix A for Exhibit)
1.3 Water Quality Analysis
The St, Vincent Heart Center Helipad project ties in to tile existing water quality system
in place, which is the wet detention ponds. The developed conditions also adds a
gross strip adjacent to the helipad which will function os a filter strip for water quality
treatment prior to the storm water entering the storm sewer which ultimately discharges
into the existing wet pond which will remove any remaining pollutants.
1.4 Conclusions
This development's storm water quality and detention requirements meet or comply
with the previously submitted and approved construction plans and also meets the
current requirements set forth by the local governing ordinances for redeveloped
areas.
