Dear Brandon:
The Planting Schedule you need to submit is required to match your site plan. So the shade tree would be a
minimum 2.5 inch caliper sized trunk balled and burlapped sugar maple, and the yews (Taxus) would be at least
18" in height.

Hi Scott:
Per our discussion at the TAC meeting, here is my planting list. I am going to take your advise and plant an
English Yew hedge around the perimeter of the parking area.
Hedge:
English Yew (Taxus baccata)
Qty: 8-12
Shade Tree:
Sugar Maple (Acer saccharum)
Qty: 1
As far as the planting schedule is concerned, it will take place within 2 weeks following the completion of the
driveway expansion which will be completed no later than May 1, 2008. Let me know if you require any further
details.
Thanks,
Brandon

Dear Brandon:
Why don't you give me a call next week on Monday or Tuesday, and we can talk about it on the phone. It may be
easier for me to explain everything verbally. I can provide you with a couple of examples on the day you come in
for TAC.
It looks as if you are planning to add seven shrubs (what species and size?) and one ornamental tree. Could I
make a suggestion to plant a 2.5 inch caliper shade tree on the other corner of your parking (it will shade the cars
more and be out of the way for other things like trucks and deliveries). 1 will need a planting schedule (plant list
and sizes), and planting details which I can supply in pdf form. Thanks for the site plan..

Hi Scott:
Sorry, I am doing this allan my own... and, although I am capable of illustration, I don't know exactly what this
needs to look like. Aside from the minor expansion of the driveway (and landscaping around it), I am not making
an changes to the property... so, the Site Plan really reflects the current state of the property.
I made a new version for you - See Attached PDF. This version shows positioning of existing trees and
landscaping around the driveway parking area I don't know where utility lines exist... I plan to use "Call Before
You Dig" prior to expanding the driveway. I have requested this from If this is still unacceptable, please let me
know.
To answer your other questions...
We will have 3-4 cars parked in the driveway on a regular basis... 1-2 in front and 2 in the back, leaving at least 2
spaces empty in the front when possible.
I have no plans to modify the exterior of the home with the exception of expanding the driveway to accommodate
2 more cars in front and landscaping around the parking area. I intend to maintain the character of a residential
property.

Regarding additional landscaping, when the driveway is expanded, I plan to add a mulch bed and shrubs around
the perimeter of the parking area in front of the house.
Thanks,
Brandon

Dear Brandon:
Could you provide me with an engineered site plan that includes existing vegetation, utility lines and easements,
structures, paving, for my review? I got the email submissions, but they do not include the plans that I am used to
seeing. How many cars are you going to have parked at the house on a regular basis? And are you going to
change the character from residential in any way? Do you plan on adding any additional landscaping? Thank You
for your time.
