IN Proposed Addition/Existing Fire Hydrant Confirming our telephone conversation of July 11, I met with Steve Cook of CU and one of his associates at the site July 10 to discuss moving the existing fire hydrant away from our proposed building addition. After reviewing our options and the required clearances we decided to leave the hydrant where it is and build the west side of our building addition as far west as the required clearances (for both the water main and fire hydrant would allow. The attached drawing shows the revised building plan along with the clearances that both you the Water Department requested. I would appreciate it if you would review the drawing and jf the clearances shown are acceptable to you respond back to me with a letter indicating your approval. Thank you again for your assistance in helping us to resolve this matter. Very truly yours, John R Munson President Enclosures Copy: Tom Landshof 1008 Larkspur Circle Carmel, IN 46033 u u ., Page 1 oel . Main St. in Carmel. Your dear unobstructed distance of 3 feet away from the entire circumference of the fire hydrant will comply with the current Indiana Fire Code requirements. I have no comments on your project at this time, If you need any additional assistance please feel free to contact me. Respectfully, Lt.
