The sign(s) advertises for 12345 Old Meridian. Street in the City of Carmel, a business listed under your ownership. BUSINESSES ARE NOT PERMITTED TO DISPLAY TEMPORARY SIGNS, regardless of whether or not the sign is located on the business's premises. According to Section 25.07.011-4 Prohibited Signs, of the Carmel/Gilay Zoning Ordinance the following sign(s) are prohibited: (f) Signs consisting of banners, posters, pennants, ribbons, streamers, strings of light bulbs, spinners or similar devices, unless they are permitted specifically by other sections of this Ordinance. Specifically, this letter refers to freestanding banners that were erected along Old Meridian Street, as well as several temporary signs In the ground along the same street frontage. This letter shall serve as the first and final warning i for this type of violation. Please remove the illegal signs immediately, or you will face further enforcement action.
