The sign(s) advertises for the property located at 650 East Carmel Drive in the City of Carmel, a property listed under your ownership. Chapter 25.07.03-03 of the Carmel/Clay Zoning Ordinance regulates real estate signs. This section requires that real estate signs be a ground sign of a height no taller than five feet and with an area of no greater than twenty square feet and requires permits to be issued by the City of Carmel for such signs. With respect to this property, the following regulations apply: Business and Manufacturing Zoning Districts: Properties under five (5) acres may have real estate signs twenty (20) square feet in size with a maximum height of five (5) feet. Properties which are five (5) acres or greater may have real estate signs which are thirty-two (32) square feet in size, but a maximum height of eight (8) feet applies. 3 All Real Estate signs over six (6) square feet in size require a sign permit. Permits may be obtained by contacting Rachel Boone at (317) 571-9347. Ms. Boone will also be able to answer any additional sign regulation questions that you may have. This letter shall serve as the final warning for this type of violation. After the date established by the Violation Notice, any illegal real estate sign associated with this property shall be documented and additional enforcement action will be taken.
