Code Services VIA CERTIFIED MAIL January 16, 2009 Rich's Furniture 1030 South Rangeline Road Carmel, IN 46032 RE: ZONING ORDINANCE VIOLATION —WINDOW SIGN(S) Dear Sir or Madam: This letter is being provided to inform you that a window sign violation has been brought to this department's attention. The signs advertise for Rich's Furniture, located at 1030 South Rangeline Road, in the City of Carmel, a property listed under your ownership. According to Section 25.07.02-12 Window Signs, of the Carmel/Clay Zoning Ordinance the signage is in violation of the ordinance ( copy enclosed ) only one illuminated window sign is permitted per tenant. The definition of a window sign is any sign that is placed within 24 inches of a window's surface. This letter shall serve as the first and final warning for this type of violation. Please correct the violation by January 21, 2009. After the date established by the Violation Notice any temporary sign advertising for this establishment shall be documented and formal enforcement action may be taken.
