The sign(s) advertises for 30 West Main Street in the City of Carmel, a property listed under your ownership. Specifically, this violation is, in reference to two banners on the east and west sides of the building. BUSINESSES ARE NOT PERMITTED TO DISPLAY TEMPORARY SIGNS, regardless of whether or .not the sign is located on the business's premises. According to Section 25.07.01-4 Prohibited Signs, of the Carmel/Clay Zoning Ordinance the following, sign(s) are prohibited,: (f) Signs consisting of banners, posters, pennants, ribbons, streamers, strings of light bulbs, spinners or similar devices, unless they are permitted specifically by other sections of this Ordinance,. This letter shall serve as the second and final notice for this type of violation. To avoid further enforcement action, please remove the illegail sign by February 10, 2009.
