Notice is hereby given that the Carmel Plan Commission meeting on December 16, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. in
the City Hall Council Chambers, 1 Civic Square, Carmel, Indiana 46032 will hold a Public Hearing upon a
Development Plan Application and Architectural Design, Lighting/Landscaping,snd Signage Application
in order to present the applications to construct a Firestone Complete Auto Care store and gather public
information.
The application is identified as Docket No. 08100011 DP Amend/ADCs
The real estate affected by said application is described as follows:
Part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 6, Township 17 North, Range 3 East, Clay Township,
Hamilton County, Indiana, being more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the northeast corner of the Southwest Quarter of Section 6, Township 17 North,
Range 3 East, Hamilton County, Indiana; thence South 89 degrees 56 minutes 26 seconds West
(assumed bearing) on the north line of said Southwest Quarter 1377.69 feet to the northwest
corner of Block "C" of the Plat of Townes at Weston Pointe, as recorded in Instrument Number
200400067374, in Plat Cabinet 3, Slide 489 in the Office of the Recorder of Hamilton County,
Indiana; thence continuing South 89 degrees 56 minutes 26 seconds West on said north line

I was unaware of the close proximity of our site to Boone County and it appears that there are properties in
Boone County that are within the parameters of "two properties or 660 feet" from our site.

For the BZA, you would need nine copies of the packets, essentially the same as what was delivered to the Plan
Commission. I don't know how many copies you would need for permitting; Trudy Weddington, in our Permits Dept, has
been copied on this email and would be able to tell you. She may also be able to answer your question about state
submittals, or point you in the right direction.
Regarding the variances on file, since sign variances will also be needed and are not on file yet, we would like to table the
filed variances until the sign variances are ready to be heard, so the Board can consider them as one package. More
than likely, the Board would table the petitions anyway, until the sign variances were on the docket. Also, do you have the
lists from Hamilton County and Boone County of the adjoining property owners, for the notice that was sent out? We
received a list of all of the adjoiners, but we also need copies of the original lists from the counties.
