Docket No. 08700011 DP Amend/ADLS: Weston Pointe - Outlot 2 -Firestone The applicant seeks site plan and design approval for an automobile repair facility. The site is located north of 11055 Michigan Rd. and is zoned B-2/Business within the Michigan Rd Overlay Zone. Filed by Janue Shinneman of Weihe Engineers for Firestone Service Center. The applicant seeks approval of a complete auto care store. The site is located in an outlot of dre Weston Pointe Retail Center. Building materials proposed are primarily brick, stone veneer, and split faced block. Please view the petitioner's informational brochure for more detail. Please provide a copy of the proposed site plaid overlaid upon an aerial photo of the retail center. 3. Provide the landscape lighting details/specifications (if applicable). 4. Show/label the mechanical equipment location and how it is screened from view. 5. Please consider using LEED or `green' site and building practices, such as solar panels, skylights, native plant species, bio-swales, etc. 6. Please think about replacing some of the excess number of parking spaces with green space. 7. BZA: Variance will be required for not having 8-ft Offsets (recessions or projections) for buildings 90-ft or longer', per Section 23C.09.D. 8. BZA: a variance may be required for the Building base landscaping (foundations plantings) not surrounding the entire building. 9. BZA: variances will be required for signage facing north and east.
