Petitioner seeks amended Architectural Design, Lighting, Landscaping & Signage
approval for a wall sign. The site is located at 10333 North Meridian Street. The site is
zoned B-5/Business and is within the US 31 Overlay Zone.
Filed by Steve Granner of Bose McKinney & Evans, LLP for First Indiana Bank.
The applicant is requesting ADLS Amendment approval of a wall sign. Please see informational
packet distributed with the agenda packet last week.
The proposed sign is consistent with other signs within the complex. However, at 81 square feet
in area the sign is larger than the 75 square feet permitted. The applicant has two options. One
would be to reduce the size of the sign to 75 squaze feet or to file for a variance to allow the sign
as proposed.
The Department recommends that the Special Studies Committee approve the request after
all comments and concerns have been addressed.
Note: The item only requires approval by the Special Studies Committee.

Committee and Subdivision Committee Agendas for May 13th. Please remember that the
Executive Committee meets at 6:15.
The De~lartment would like to remove the following item from the agenda and place it on the
June 3` Subdivision Committee Agenda. Information is not ready to distribute on this item.
