The site is located on the east side of Towne Road, 1/2 mile south of 106th Street. The site is zoned S-1/Residence -Very Low Intensity, The petitioner also seeks approval of the following Subdivision Waiver: 79-03a SW (03050041) SCO 6.3.20 private streets Filed by Paul G. Reis of Drewry Simmons Pitts & Vornehm for Lucky, LLC. The applicant is proposing to gate the existing street that serves the Treesdale Subdivision and in the future upon completion of the section two of the subdivision also gate the other entrance. Please see the petitioner's information packet for a layout of the site. The applicant is proposing one subdivision waiver necessary to allow a private street. The Subdivision Committee forwards a 5-1 vote of "No Recommendation" to the full Plan Commission on this request. A favorable recommendation failed by a vote of 3-3. The Department recommends that the Plan Commission approve both the subdivision waiver and plat amendment. Note: Written Findings are required for action on both the Subdivision Waiver and the Primary Plat Amendment. The applicant should provide one copy for signature by the Plan Commission President at the meeting.
