DEPARTMENT REPORT
APRIL 2, 2009
8. Docket No. 09030014 ADLS Amend: Hilton Garden Inn. The applicant seeks approval for wall sign
color change from bronze to red during day/white at night. The site is located at 13090 N. Pennsylvania
Ave. and is zoned B-2 within the US 31 Overlay. Filed by Linda Poore of Hilton Garden Inn.
The Applicant seeks design approval for a wall sign face color change. Cun'ently, the signs show bronze during
the day and shine white at night The Applicant would like the sighs to be red during the day and white at night.
There are two signs, one on the north and one on the south faces of the building. Nothing but the color of the
signs will change.
The original signs approved for this building were white during the day and night. However, the Applicant felt
the signs were not visible enough during the day because they were installed against a light colored background.
So, they requested the bronze color change in 2006. Now, the Applicant desires the company's official
logo brand color, which is red.
