The colors will follow . Colonial,Williamsburg patterns. using, primarily earth shades. "Market Place", Pole Sign n rt of Carmel Drive on Keystone a ar Maurer for Comm-Am Corp.. =The application was represented by Decovna and Maurer. The proposal.. ;`.iwas actually for two pole signs ,. one to be located along Keystone Avenue -,'and the other at Keystone Way and.Carmel Drive. The sign along Keystone Avenue would be 30 feet talL.and the other sign 15 feet tall, both having " a double faced,. round sign ,face, nine feet in diameter( approximately 254 square feet per face). The pole will form an arch , providing a hooded effect for shieldedrdownward shining lighting of ..the stationary sign-face. The sign face will. display a three dimensional .version of the center and its name enly. The signs .are necessary to allow passing. motorists to locate the center,. especially since the center .does not have . direct access to Keystone Avenue or Carmel Drive. • The Building Commissioner co~en[ed on the sign ordinance in respect to tills variance application. No pole signs are permitted and ground . signs ale limited to 5 .feet in height.. The remodel consists of the following; "1 his building had one tenant over t)aai last several years, Illusions Restaurant. They have moved out and we gutted the'auilding; almost everything to the exterior walls. We are going to remodel the structure into a 6 unit office building, five units downstairs and one unit upstairs. There will be new electrical, heating/ac, plumbing and new interior layout. The exterior wall dimensions will not be altered except to add porches where we are adding exterior doors for each unit. 2. See 2nd copy of application as requested -attached. 3. See 2 copies of location map. 4. The exterior building dimensions (other than covered porches),'color and materials will not change. We currently have a sign variance for tenant signs at Wilson Office Park - see attached. The plan elevation will show the desired sign locations for this building. We have applied for our state permit and should have it with the building plan in a week to 10 days. At that time we will get you two copies. 5. Colors remain the same 6. No additional lights are being erected. We are replacing 4 with the same as were there before, black coach lantern post.lights of approximately 10' tall. See spec sheet attached. 7. Again, signs locations & approximate sizes will be shown on the plan elevation -See sign variance attached. 8. Site layout only changed slightly. We need to take out a few parking spaces on the North side of the building to create two handicap spaces and to bring the side walls out a little further. The square footage of the building shows more but that is because there was a very tall ceiling before on the main level which we will be fumed into an upstairs unit.
