EVENT, SPECIAL. The short-term cultural, community and entertainment events that take place indoors or out, including fund-raising activities by not-for-profit organizations, walks, mns and bike events, concerts, carnivals or festivals, and other similar events. PERMIT, LAND DISTURBANCE. An Improvement Location Permit (ILP) for activities involving Alternation of Real Estate that may or may not involve building construction, but shall not be required for agriculture uses and activities, nor for domestic gardening. USE, TEMPORARY. The short-term or seasonal uses not conducted in an enclosed building or regular place of business, intended to sell, or promote specific merchandise or products, classified into two categories: a. If there has been an increase, the increase shall be stated as a percentage of the arithmetic mean for the three-month period of the year preceding the current year (the Adjustment Percentage). The Adjustment Percentage shall be rounded to the nearest one-tenth of one percent (0.1%) and may not exceed four percent (4%), unless otherwise provided by ordinance.
