COUNCIL CHAMBERS/CITY HALL/ONE CIVIC SQUARE MEMBERS PRESENT; Council President-W.`Eric Scidensticker, Council Members 7oliii V. Acceituro,'Luci Snyder; Ronald E. Carter; Kevin Rider and Deputy Clerk-Treasurer Lois Fine. Mayor Brainard; Councilor Griffiths, Councilor Sharp and Clerk-Treasurer Diana 1...Corihay were not in attendance. Council President --Seidensticker called'the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. CLAIMS: Councilor Snyder made a motion to approve 'claims in the. amount of S2,866,175:81. Councilor Accetturo seconded. Councilom Carter asked for clarification of the KPMG line item on page 19 in the amount of $8,144.96. There was brief Council discussion Councilor. Carter- referred to Tom Perkins Assistant City Attorney, for clarification.. There was brief Council discussion. Councilor Carter requested that the Clerk-Treasurer veri fy to the Council that there are.sufficient fiutds in line item 94340400 in the Council budget to pay this'bili. There was brief Council discussion Councilor Rider made a motion to strike KPMG oil line 19 in the amount of $8,144.96.. Councilor Carter seconded. COUndil President Seidensticker provided a new amount of $2,858;030.85 that the Council would lic approvir g: Council President Seidensticker called for the vote: Tiie motion was approved 5-0. Councilor Accetturo wanted clarification of the line item Carmel Perfornning Arts CE in the. amount of $150,000 on page 12, Councilor Carter responded that this was a Salary Grant in anticipation of hiring;an Executive Director for the Performing Arts Center. There was brief Council discussion. Councilor Snyder made a motion to approve the amended claim run. Councilor Rider seconded. There was no Council discussion. Council President Seidensticker called for the vote. Claims in the'amount of $2,858,030:85 were approved 5-0.
