(c) Requirement to cut. All owners of real property ("property") located within the City shall cut and remove weeds and other rank vegetation growing thereon that exceeds an average height of six inches, and shall keep their property clear of debris. The issue in the rough areas of the buffering between the Stonegate of Carmel Apartments and the Woodacre Subdivision is the location and amount of ragweed and other noxious weeds present in these areas. The State of Indiana categorizes certain plant and weed species as "detrimental plants" and requires any detrimental plant to be destroyed. (See IC 15-3-4 enclosed). Please be advised, if the above referenced violation is not corrected by November 7, 2008, this matter will be brought into compliance by the City of Carmel.
