Benefits of Compactor
In communities similar in size to The Legacy Towns & Flats:
A compactor needs picked up once every 3 weeks
Each individual dumpster needs picked up 3 times per week
- Reduces noise to residents
- Reduces wear and tear on surface
- Improves safety by limiting truck traffic to one
location and at a reduced frequency
- Keeps community cleaner by eliminating
multiple trash collection areas
- Do not need to rely on residents to shut the
dumpster gate to hide view of trash
- Compactor is screened by maintenance free
brick fence and trash is compacted daily to stay
out of view
- Approximately 75% of the top of the compactor
is enclosed (the portion that is open is appx. the
same size as a standard roll-off dumpster)
