(c) Requirement to cut. All owners of real property ("property") located within the City shall cut and remove weeds and other rank vegetation growing thereon that exceeds an average height of six inches, and shall keep their property clear of debris. I wanted to give you a heads up on a phone call I got from Brad at Wilkins Lawn Care this morning. Brad had a crew of 3 out at property located at 254 West 136th Street on Saturday, June 20. They were there for 8 hours picking up sticks and trash, trimming and cutting the grass. He said the grass was almost 5 ft. tall in some areas. Since this property was approx. 5 acres of land, took 8 hours, crew of 3 he is going to have to charge us more than normal. He stated the job will run $800-$1,000 and just wanted to give us a heads up. Brad can be reached at 710-1251 if you needing to get more information or details. I just wanted to let you know so that when the invoice comes in you had an idea of what to expect and why it would be more than normal.
