Subsequent to our investigation, we have advised Mr. Slavin that, in our opinion, a sign variance would be difficult to obtain and that we would not file the petition for him. Therefore, the signs are currently in violation of the permit approval and subject to further enforcement action, which may include the revocation of your sign permit and/or a summons into Carmel City Court. To avoid further enforcement action, you must return the sign to match the approved elevations submitted as part of your sign permit application, or remove the new sign no later than April 3, 2009.
