GENERAL NOTES
1. This drawing has been created
from measurements obtained
on—site. Existing conditions are only
(approximate. Landmark Landscaping,
Inc. will make on—site field
adjustments to the landscape design,
as necessary, to accomodate existing
site conditions.
2. Landmark Landscaping, Inc. will
visit site and review and verify
existing site conditions to familiarize
ourselves with existing conditions
prior to subn bid pricing and
prior to construction.
3. Prior to construction, Landmark
Landscaping. Inc. will have all
underground utilities located.
Landmark Landscaping, Inc. will have
existing utility markings maintained
during landscape construction.
4. Landmark Landscaping, Inc. will
protect existing lawn and pavement
areas to remain.
5. During the construction process,
the site will be kept in an
orderly manner free of any
unnecessary debris, or other waste
material.
6. Upon completion of the project,
Landmark Landscaping, Inc. will
remove all remaining debris resulting
from the landscape work and
dispose properly off—site.
7. In tree and shrub planting
areas, soil immediately adjacent to
new plant rootball will be amended.
Entire perennial planting areas will be
amended.
8. All plants will meet or exceed
the American Standard for Nursery
Stock, latest edition.
9. To avoid plant settling, all plant
holes shall be dug a minimum of 2
inches less than depth of root ball,
10. Upon setting the plant in the
hole, remove burlap from the top
one third of the root ball. If
fiberglass or plastic burlap was used,
remove it entirely AFTER the plant is
set in the hole. Cut and remove all
string, rope, and/or strapping. Cut
and remove wire basket from top
and sides of root ball to prevent
girdling of plant roots. All smooth
barked trees to be wrapped upon
initial planting.
11. All planting bed areas shall be
mulched with 2 inches of shredded
hardwood bark mulch. Existing mulch
shall be cultivated into existing soil
prior to new mulch installation.
12. Plants will be fully irrigated. The
existing irrigation system will be
evaluated and utilized as much as
possible for new irrigation system.
