proposed 624 car garage and the related elements that support the entire 7C complex Bids for the garage range from $7 4 million for base pre -cast garage to $8 2 million for an upgraded `exterior finish that meets the design'requirements set by the CRC for the public campus consisting of the PAC, Village Green and theater Included in,tlie bids are the campus underground storm water storage systems, general site work utilities, and dnves to support the entire complex b Anticipate start of construction of the garage to be summer of 2009 depending on funding for construction e Included in the garage on the north end is support space for the anticipated theater and storage for city maintenance equipment 11 North Office Building CRC (Parcel #7 C) a Design is moving forward with the four story office building facing onto the Village Green and attached to the theatre and parking garage This building will have a central entry that will provide a common connection to the garage and theatre and will include vertical transportation that serves all three projects The first floor will have the major entrance to the theater b The CRC and SEP, a computer software company, have signed a lease for the top two floors in a four -story office building c The CRC is looking to add a 200 seat black box theater' to the office building The theater will occupy part of the first floor and floor with the balance of the space being office space and a public lobby serving the attached garage, `black box theater' and 500 seat theater 4 d Office building completion is set for December 2010 12 Old City Street Department Site and Adjacent CRC Property (Parcel #14) a The developer for the Arts District Lofts Shoppes (Keystone Development) is planning to use the city site as a temporary construction staging and storage Site v ill also be used to park construction worker s vehicles 13 City Center South CRC/Pnvate Developer (Parcel #21) a Developer interest on the NW comer of Range Line Road and Carmel Drive reflects the CRC Mastei Plan for developing the area, including the extension of Veterans Way to Carmel Dnve b To develop the NW comer will require the relocation of the high voltage lines that run north and south The CRC Staff as part of their long range planning efforts have met with Duke Energy to start the overhead power line issues It was determined that a new underground routes starting at the Carmel Fire Station headquarters running underground south to the south side of Carmel Drive c The estimated cost for this utility relocation is $4 5 to 55 0 million dollars No major development can happen in this area until the utility relocations are resolved Arts DesI2n District Update 1 CRC Update a CRC has awarded bids for Vendor Power stations along Main Street providing electricity to outside vendors during Distnct festivals and events Project anticipated to be complete by September 2009 2 Upcoming Events a CRC Staff is working to prepare for various
