TEMPORARY AND PERMANENT SEEDING:
A. INSPECT PERIODICALLY, ESPECIALLY AFTER STORM EVENTS, UNTIL
THE STAND IS SUCCESSFULLY ESTABUSHED.
B. PLAN TO ADD FERTIUZER THE FOLLOWING GROWING SEASON
ACCORDING TO SOIL TEST RECOMMENDATIONS.
C. REPAIR DAMAGED. BARE, OR SPARSE AREAS BY RWNG ANY

MULCHING:

B. IF WASHOUT, BREAKAGE, OR EROSION IS PRESENT, REPAIR THE
SURFACE, THEN RE -SEED, RE- MULCH, AND IF APPUCABLE,
INSTALL NEW NETTING.
C. CONTINUE INSPECTIONS UNTIL VEGETATION IS FIRMLY ESTABUSHED.
D. REFERENCE INDOT SPECIFICATION 621.05.
SILT FENCE:
A. INSPECT THE SILT FENCE PERIODICALLY AND AFTER EACH STORM
EVENT.
B. IF FENCE FABRIC TEARS, STARTS TO DECOMPOSE, OR IN ANY WA
BECOMES INEFFECTIVE, REPLACE THE AFFECTED PORTION
IMMEDIATELY.
C. REMOVE DEPOSITED SEDIMENT WHEN IT REACHES HALF THE HEIGHT
OF THE FENCE AT ITS LOWEST POINT OR IS CAUSING THE FABRIC
TO BULGE.
D. TAKE CARE TO AVOID UNDERMINING THE FENCE DURING CLEAN OUT.
E. AFTER THE CONTRIBUTING DRAINAGE AREA HAS BEEN STABIUZED,
REMOVE THE FENCE AND SEDIMENT DEPOSITS, BRING THE
DISTURBED AREA TO GRADE AND STABILIZE.
SANDBAG INLET PROTECTION:
A. INSPECT THE SANDBAG INLET PROTECTION PERIODICALLY AND AFTER
EACH STORM EVENT.
B. REMOVE DEPOSITED SEDIMENT WHEN IT REACHES HALF THE HEIGHT
OF THE SANDBAGS AT THE LOWEST POINT.
C. REMOVE THE SANDBAG INLET PROTECTION AND SEDIMENT DEPOSITS
PRIOR TO THE COMMENCEMENT OF PAVING OPERATIONS.
CONSTRUCTION SEQUENCE SCHEDULE OF EROSION CONTROL
IMPLEMENTATION
SILT FENCE SHALL BE PLACED AS SHOWN IN THESE PLANS BEFORE ANY
LAND DISTURBING ACTIVITIES ARE STARTED.
2. CONSTRUCT TEMPORARY GRAVEL ENTRANCE AND PARKING AREA IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE "INDIANA HANDBOOK FOR EROSION CONTROL IN
DEVELOPING AREAS."
3. STRIP TOPSOIL AND REMOVE FROM SITE.
4. ROUGH GRADE SITE. DISTURBED AREAS SHOULD BE SEEDED
IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING ROUGH GRADING. AREAS THAT WILL NOT BE
DISTURBED AGAIN SHOULD BE PERMANENTLY SEEDED. NO
UNVEGETATED AREAS SHOULD BE EXPOSED FOR MORE THAN SEVEN
DAYS.
CONSTRUCT BUILDING STRUCTURES, INSTALL CURB, STORM STRUCTURES
AND FINAL GRADE SITE. INSTALL STORM SEWER RELATED EROSION
CONTROL MEASURES AS SOON AS INSTALLATION AND FINAL GRADING IS
COMPLETE. ALL EROSION CONTROL BLANKETS SHALL BE INSTALLED PER
MANUFACTURERS RECOMMENDATIONS AS SOON AS FINAL GRADING IS
COMPLETE.
7. FINAL PAVING OPERATIONS. TEMPORARY EROSION CONTROL MEASURES
SHALL REMAIN IN PLACE UNTIL VEGETATION IS SECURE.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND GENERAL NOTES:
THIS PROJECT INVOLVES THE CONSTRUCTION OF A COMMERCIAL OFFICE
BUILDING. CURBS, WALKS, AND PARKING NECESSARY FOR THE
DEVELOPMENT SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED AS WELL A STORM SEWER
SYSTEM SHALL BE UT1UZED FOR STORM WATER COLLECTION. DRAINAGE
MALL BE DISCHARGED INTO AN ADJACENT EXISTING STORM SEWER
MANHOLE. WATER, SANITARY SEWER, GAS, AND ELECTRIC U11L1I1ES
SHALL ALSO SERVICE THE PROPERTY.
2. NO WETLANDS ARE LOCATED WWTHIN THESE PROJECT OMITS.
3. THE PROJECT UES WITHIN THE W.R. FERTIG WATERSHED. THE RECEIVING
WATER FOR THE SITE IS THE J.W. HAWKIN REGULATED DRAIN.
4. THERE ARE NO POTENTIAL AREAS WHERE STORM WATER MAY ENTER THE
GROUNDWATER.
5. THE EXISTING SITE IS PRESENTLY COVERED IN GRASS WITH TREES AS
NOTED ON THE PLAN.
