CONSTRUCTION SEQUENCE SCHEDULE OF EROSION CONTROL
IMPLEMENTATION
1. SILT FENCE SHALL BE PLACED AS SHOWN IN THESE PLANS BEFORE ANY
LAND DISTURBING ACTIVITIES ARE STARTED.
2. CONSTRUCT TEMPORARY GRAVEL ENTRANCE AND PARKING AREA IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE "INDIANA HANDBOOK FOR EROSION CONTROL IN
DEVELOPING AREAS."
3. STRIP TOPSOIL AND REMOVE FROM SITE.
4. ROUGH GRADE SITE. DISTURBED AREAS SHOULD BE SEEDED
IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING ROUGH GRADING. AREAS THAT WILL NOT BE
DISTURBED AGAIN SHOULD BE PERMANENTLY SEEDED. NO
UNVEGETATED AREAS SHOULD BE EXPOSED FOR MORE THAN SEVEN
DAYS.
6. CONSTRUCT BUILDING STRUCTURES, INSTALL CURB, STORM STRUCTURES
AND FINAL GRADE SITE. INSTALL STORM SEWER RELATED EROSION
CONTROL MEASURES AS SOON AS INSTALLATION AND FINAL GRADING IS
COMPLETE. ALL EROSION CONTROL BLANKETS SHALL BE INSTALLED PER
MANUFACTURERS RECOMMENDATIONS AS SOON AS FINAL GRADING IS
COMPLETE.
7. FINAL PAVING OPERATIONS. TEMPORARY EROSION CONTROL MEASURES
SHALL REMAIN IN PLACE UNTIL VEGETATION IS SECURE.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND GENERAL NOTES:
1. THIS PROJECT INVOLVES THE CONSTRUCTION OF A COMMERCIAL OFFICE
BUILDING. CURBS, WALKS, AND PARKING NECESSARY FOR THE
DEVELOPMENT SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED AS WELL. A STORM SEWER
SYSTEM SHALL BE UTILIZED FOR STORM WATER COLLECTION. DRAINAGE
WILL BE DISCHARGED INTO AN ADJACENT EXISTING STORM SEWER
MANHOLE. WATER, SANITARY SEWER, GAS, AND ELECTRIC UTILITIES
SHALL ALSO SERVICE THE PROPERTY.
2. NO WETLANDS ARE LOCATED WITHIN THESE PROJECT LIMITS.
3. THE PROJECT LIES WITHIN THE W.R. FERTIG WATERSHED. THE RECEIVING
WATER FOR THE SITE IS THE J.W. HAWKIN REGULATED DRAIN.
4. THERE ARE NO POTENTIAL AREAS WHERE STORM WATER MAY ENTER THE
GROUNDWATER.
5. THE EXISTING SITE IS PRESENTLY COVERED IN GRASS WITH TREES AS
NOTED ON THE PLAN.

3. STRIP TOPSOIL AND REMOVE FROM SITE.
4. ROUGH GRADE SITE. DISTURBED AREAS SHOULD BE SEEDED
IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING ROUGH GRADING. AREAS THAT WILL NOT BE
DISTURBED AGAIN SHOULD BE PERMANENTLY SEEDED. NO
UNVEGETATED AREAS SHOULD BE EXPOSED FOR MORE THAN SEVEN
DAYS.
6. CONSTRUCT BUILDING STRUCTURES, INSTALL CURB, STORM STRUCTURES
AND FINAL GRADE SITE. INSTALL STORM SEWER RELATED EROSION
CONTROL MEASURES AS SOON AS INSTALLATION AND FINAL GRADING IS
COMPLETE. ALL EROSION CONTROL BLANKETS SHALL BE INSTALLED PER
MANUFACTURERS RECOMMENDATIONS AS SOON AS FINAL GRADING IS
COMPLETE.
7. FINAL PAVING OPERATIONS. TEMPORARY EROSION CONTROL MEASURES
SHALL REMAIN IN PLACE UNTIL VEGETATION IS SECURE.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND GENERAL NOTES:
1. THIS PROJECT INVOLVES THE CONSTRUCTION OF A COMMERCIAL OFFICE
BUILDING. CURBS, WALKS, AND PARKING NECESSARY FOR THE
DEVELOPMENT SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED AS WELL. A STORM SEWER
SYSTEM SHALL BE UTILIZED FOR STORM WATER COLLECTION. DRAINAGE
WILL BE DISCHARGED INTO AN ADJACENT EXISTING STORM SEWER
MANHOLE. WATER, SANITARY SEWER, GAS, AND ELECTRIC UTILITIES
SHALL ALSO SERVICE THE PROPERTY.
2. NO WETLANDS ARE LOCATED WITHIN THESE PROJECT LIMITS.
3. THE PROJECT LIES WITHIN THE W.R. FERTIG WATERSHED. THE RECEIVING
WATER FOR THE SITE IS THE J.W. HAWKIN REGULATED DRAIN.
4. THERE ARE NO POTENTIAL AREAS WHERE STORM WATER MAY ENTER THE
GROUNDWATER.
5. THE EXISTING SITE IS PRESENTLY COVERED IN GRASS WITH TREES AS
NOTED ON THE PLAN.
