NOTE: IF SITE REMAINS INACTIVE FOR A PERIOD OF 2 WEEKS, THEN STABILIZATION IS REQUIRED TO TAKE PLACE IN THE FORM OF TEMPORARY SEEDING, MULCH, OR SPRAY ON PALIMAR. Seedbed Preparation for Permanent Seeding 1. Test soil to determine pH and nutrient levels. (Contact you county SWCD or Cooperative Extension office for assistance and soils information, including available testing services.) 2. The following is a list in sequence of construction activities to control soil erosion: 1. All items, as outlined in the in the 0 &M manual for Post Constuction water quality measures shall be placed in this area. 7. Lake #3 to be constructed at this time. Install blankets and seeding immediately after lake is constructed. 8. Grade the site (sides of swales, mounds and ponds to be seeded and mulched immediately upon completion. If the site remains inactive for a period of 15 days ibilization is required to take place in the form of temporary seeding, mulch or spray on palimar. For temporary seeding, the contractor shall utilize a fast growing seed of either oats, annual ryegrass, wheat or rye depending on time of yea r.
