1. CONTRACTOR WILL CAP AND SEAL ALL UTILITIES BEING ABANDONED PRIOR TO
BEGINNING THE PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW BUILDING.
2. A PRE-CONSTRUCTION MEETING WITH THE CITY OF CARMEL INSPECTORS IS
REQUIRED PRIOR TO BEGINNING ANY DEMOLITION WORK ON THE PROJECT.
3. IT SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EACH SUBCONTRACTOR TO VERIFY ALL
EXISTING UTILITIES AND CONDITIONS PERTAINING TO THE PHASE OF WORK. IT

OWNERS OF THE VARIOUS UTILITIES FOR PROPER STAKE LOCATION OF EACH
UTILITY BEFORE WORK IS STARTED. THE SUBCONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY IN
WRITING THE OWNER AND ENGINEER OF ANY CHANGES, OMISSIONS, OR ERRORS
FOUND ON THESE PLANS OR IN FIELD BEFORE WORK IS STARTED OR RESUMED.
A PRE-CONSTRUCTION MEETING MAY BE REQUIRED WITH ALL UTILITIES PRIOR TO
BEGINNING ANY DEMOLITION AND NEW INSTALLATION OF THE UTILITIES.
4. STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE LOCAL GOVERNING AGENCY SHALL APPLY
FOR ALL SANITARY SEWERS, STORM SEWERS, AND WATER MAINS.
5, ALL MATERIALS FROM THE DEMOLITION ACTIVITIES WILL BE REMOVED FROM
SITE BY THE CONTRACTOR AND DISPOSED OF AT THE APPROPRIATE LOCATIONS
FOR THE MATERIALS.
6. WATER SERVICE LINE TO THE BUILDING SHALL HAVE A SHUT-OFF VALVE IN
AN ACCESSIBLE LOCATION OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDING.
7. TEMPORARY TRAFFIC CONTROL DURING CONSTRUCTION TO CONFORM TO
APPLICABLE LOCAL AND STATE STANDARDS.
8. ALL CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY ON THIS SITE TO BE PERFORMED IN COMPLIANCE
