E. 3344 33C. 6. SANITARY SEWER PIPE JOINTS SHALL CONFORM TO LOCAL SANITARY SEWER SPECIFICATIONS. 7. CONSTRUCTION SHALL NOT COMMENCE UNTIL AN IMPROVEMENT LOCATION PERMIT HAS BEEN OBTAINED. 8. ADDITIONS, DELETIONS, AND /OR REVISIONS TO THE SANITARY SEWER FACILITIES SHALL NOT BE MADE WITHOUT APPROVAL BY THE CITY OF CARMEL. 9. WATER MAINS CROSSING ANY AND ALL SEWERS SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM VERTICAL SEPARATION OF 18" BETWEEN THE OUTSIDE OF THE WATER MAIN PIPE AND THE SEWER PIPE. ONE FULL LENGTH OF WATER MAIN PIPE SHALL BE CENTERED AT THE POINT OF THE CROSSING SUCH THAT BOTH JOINTS WILL BE EQUIDISTANT AND AS FAR AWAY FROM THE SEWER AS POSSIBLE. IF WATER LINE(S) CROSS BELOW SANITARY SEWER LINE(S), SEWER LINE MUST BE CONSTRUCTED FROM WATER MAIN MATERIAL FOR THAT PARTICULAR SPAN. 10. EXISTING UNDERGROUND UTILITIES ARE SHOWN IN THEIR APPROXIMATE LOCATIONS ACCORDING TO THE BEST AVAILABLE INFORMATION. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DETERMINING THE EXACT LOCATION OF THE EXISTING UTILITIES AND REPAIRING ANY DAMAGE DONE TO THE UTILITIES DURING PROBING OR CONSTRUCTION. ALL STORM DRAINAGE CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE PERFORMED IN ACCORDANCE WITH LOCAL STORM SEWER SPECIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS. 12. FIELD TILE ENCOUNTERED SHALL BE REPLACED AND /OR CONNECTED TO THE STORM SEWER SYSTEM. 13. SIDE SLOPES 3 :1 OR GREATER WILL BE SODDED OR STABILIZED WITH AN EROSION CONTROL BLANKET. 14. ALL EARTHEN AREAS DISTURBED DURING CONSTRUCTION SHALL HAVE TEMPORARY SEEDING AND MULCHING. 15. SILT FENCE AROUND STRUCTURES IN PAVEMENT AREA ARE TO BE INSTALLED PRIOR TO PAVING CONSTRUCTION. 16.
