EROSION CONTROL MEASURES AND SCHEDULE
1. The contractor shall schedule a Pre construction meeting with the Hamilton County Soil
and Water Conservation District prior to any construction on the site being started.
2. The construction entrance Installed.
3. Silt fence entire project site,
4, Maintenance and refueling area constructed.
5. Concrete washout area constructed,
6. Posting information area shall be constructed, All Items, as outlined in the 0 M
manual for Post Construction water quality measures shall be placed in this area.

8. Contractor shall install all storm sewers, and subsurface drains. Straw bale filters
shall be installed at all storm inlets (Including street inlets).
9. Grade the site (side swales, and ponds to be seeded and mulched immediately upon
completion), Temporary seeding shall be recommended for all swales and disturbed
areas that cannot be final seeded within a time period that wilt prevent slope
erosion. For temporary seeding, the contractor shall utilize a fast growing seed
of either oats, annual rye grass, wheat or rye depending on time of year.
Disturbed areas should be kept to a minimum at all times.
10. Storm inlets are to be protected Immediately after installation.
11. Contractor shall control mud accumulation on all streets surrounding project by
installing stone surface at all locations where construction traffic leaves the site.
Dust shall be kept to a minimum by utilizing sprinkling, Calcium Chloride,
Vegetative cover, spray on adhesives or other approved methods.
12. Maintain all fitters and traps during construction to prevent any blockages from
accumulated sediment, Additional seeding and straw bales may be required during
construction as specified by Engineer or Soil Conservation Service. Payment for
additional straw bales shall be at the contractor's expense. Payment for
additional seeding (not shown on plans) shalt be paid for on a unit cost basis.

1. INSPECT STRAW BALE DAMS AFTER EACH STORM EVENT AND PROMPTLY REMOVE ANY
SEDIMENT DEPOSITS.
2. INSPECT PERIODICALLY FOR DETERIORATION OR DAMAGE FROM CONSTRUCTION
AND REPAIR IMMEDIATELY,
3, AFTER THE CONTRIBUTING DRAINAGE AREA HAS BEEN STABILIZED, REMOVE ALL
STRAW BALES AND SEDIMENT, BRING THE DISTURBED AREA TO GRADE, AND STABILIZE,
SILT FENCE MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS
1. INSPECT SILT FENCE AFTER EACH STORM EVENT,
2, IF FENCE FABRIC TEARS OR BECOMES INEFFECTIVE, REPLACE THE AFFECTED AREA
IMMEDIATELY.
3, REMOVE SEDIMENT WHEN IT REACHES HALF THE HEIGHT OF THE FENCE AT ITS LOWEST
POINT OR IS CAUSING THE FABRIC TO BULGE.
4. AFTER THE CONTRIBUTING DRAINAGE AREA HAS BEEN STABILIZED, REMOVE ALL
FENCE AND SEDIMENT, BRING THE DISTURBED AREA TO GRADE, AND STABILIZE,
TEMPORARY SEDIMENT TRAP MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS
1, INSPECT TEMPORARY SEDIMENT TRAP AFTER EACH STORM EVENT.
2, REMOVE SEDIMENT WHEN IT HAS ACCUMULATED TO ONE -HALF THE DESIGN DEPTH,
3. REPLACE SPILLWAY GRAVEL FACING IF CLOGGED.
4. INSPECT VEGETATION, AND RE -SEED IF NECESSARY.
5, PROMPTLY REPLACE ANY DISPLACED RIPRAP,
6, AFTER ALL DISTURBED AREAS HAVE BEEN STABILIZED, REMOVE THE STRUCTURE

4. IMMEDIATELY REMOVE MUD AND SEDIMENT TRACKED OR WASHED ONTO PUBLIC ROADS BY
BRUSHING OR SWEEPING, FLUSHING SHOULD ONLY BE USED IF THE WATER IS CONVEYED
INTO A SEDIMENT TRAP OR BASIN.
