(c) Requirement to cut. All owners of real property ("property") located within the City shall cut and remove weeds and other tank vegetation growing thereon that exceeds an average height of six inches, and shall keep their property clear of debris. Also, there is a Junk Car on the property. This is prohibited per the Carmel City Code § 6- 106(b) and § 6-114, which states: 6-106 (b): A Junk Car shall mean any motor vehicle which does not bear a currently valid license plate, and is not kept in a garage or building. 6-114: Because of the danger to the health from vermin, the danger of personal injury to children attracted by such vehicles, danger of fire by the storage of gasoline and oil thereon, any abandoned, unlicensed, inoperable, disassembled, wrecked or junked motor vehicle on any street or public property for more than five days or upon any private properly for more than 15 days, except as hereinafter provided, is declared to be a nuisance and unlawful. Please be advised, these violations need to be corrected by August 13, 2009, or, this matter will be brought into compliance by the City of Carmel. You, as property owner(s) will be Gable and billed for the cost of correcting the Requirement to cut violation and all administrative costs. The junk vehicle must either have current plates and be operable, or be stored in a garage; otherwise, the vehicle will be removed from the property.
