This letter is being provided to inform you that the property at 14 Beechmont Dr., a property list
under your ownership, is in violation of Carmel City Codes § 6-222(b)(4)(b):
b. Tree stumps greater than 12 inches in height above ground level shall not be
permitted or maintained on any premises for more than 30 days after the tree
has been cut.
The City of Carmel has received several complaints about this property and its condition.
Subsequent to the letter that was sent on July 10, 2009, many weeds and the dead tree
were removed. However, the weeds and the stump have been left in the yard for
approximately one month. Please remediate this situation as soon as possible.
Please be advised, if the above referenced violation is not corrected by September 4, 2009, this
matter will be brought into compliance by the City of Carmel. You, as property owner(s) will be
liable and billed for the cost of correcting the violation and all administrative costs. If you have any

This letter is being provided to inform you that the property at 14 Beechmiont Dr., a property last
under your ownership„ is in violation of Carmel City Codes § 6-88(c):
(c) Requirement to cut. All owners of real property ("property") located within the
City shall cut and remove weedls and other rank vegetation growing thereon
that exceeds an average height of six inches, and shall keep their property clear of
debris.
Please be advised, if the above referenced violation is not corrected by July 17, 2009, this mutter
Will be brought into compliance by the City of Carmel. You, as property owner(s) will be liable and

Subject: Complaint
We would like to register a complaint concerning 14 Beechmont Dr., Carmel. The house sits at the entrance to
our neighborhood and is an eye sore. A large evergreen tree was uprooted and blown over this winter, the stump
has not been removed and has been overgrown with weeds. Next to this stump is another evergreen that
appears to be dead as well. This overgrown area also hinders drivers when pulling onto Main St.
