RE: CARMEL CITY CODE VIOLATIONS

This letter is being provided to inform you that the property at Hamilton Crossing, a property list
under your ownership, is in violation of Carmel City Codes § 6-88(c):
(c) Requirement to cut. All owners of real property ("property") located within the
City shall cut and remove weeds and other rank vegetation growing thereon
that exceeds an average height of six inches, and shall keep their property clear of
debris. This section shall not include cultivated Flowers and gardens, unless these
improvements are within right-of-way, platted or dedicated easements or at a
location on the premises that they cause, create, or result in or represent the
potential to cause, create or result in a detriment.
A recent inspection by the City's urban forester revealed that the vegetation growing the drainage
ditch adjacent to the right-of-way of US 31 is water primrose, a detrimental and invasive species.
Please be advised, if the above referenced violation is not corrected by September 9, 2009, this
matter will be brought into compliance by the City of Carmel. You, as property owner(s) will be
liable and billed for the cost of correcting the violation and all administrative costs. If you have any
